Som Datt Foundation had been set up on 19th day of July 2002 as a Registered Charitable Trust by a visionary, dynamic businessman and philanthropist, Dr. Som Datt, Founder Chairman of Som Datt Group of Companies, including Som Datt Builders – an internationally renowned Co.
SOM DATT FOUNDATION is a non- government: non profit registered charitable trust established in the year 2002 by a visionary, dynamic businessman, philanthropist, social reformer Dr. Som Datt Founder Chairman of Som Datt Group of companies.
We at SOM DATT FOUNDATION believe that true health encompasses complete physical and mental and spiritual well- being. Keeping this at the forefront, we run an OPD clinic and an independent psychiatric department, with a psychiatrist and clinical psychologist. this enable us to service the physical and the mental requirement of the patient we also run various programs keeping the spiritual health in mind.
The foundation runs a senior citizens club program where people over 70 year are eligible to become members these members can avail of all the benefits of the medical centre free of cost along with medicines. Many interactive programs are held such as: Games, Music, Current affairs, and outdoor activities, Health related topics delivered by various doctors and specialist taking into account their loneliness and helpless and ignorance. People living below the poverty line are treated free of cost. Various free health checkup camps are held during the course of the year. To improve inner confidence we had buses fitted with 16-20 computer terminals plying to difference slum areas where we could connect to electricity and hold various computer courses and personality development along with interviews skills.
We found after completing these courses children and adults were able to get jobs and hence improve their standard and quality of living.
